We spoke to a lot of business owners this past week, and here are 21 new food business with plans to open soon throughout Florida, from North to South to East to West.

Bay County
Kingston 10 Jerk Center & Lounge
PANAMA CITY, FL — Kingston 10 Jerk Center & Lounge is targeting a June 19 opening at 1031 W. 15th St., Panama City, FL 32401, in the former Baked Chicken location. The family and female operated business comes from Shericka Daley and her mother, Ann Marie Bailey, Daley told Business Debut. They will offer authentic Jamaican food, entertainment and a space designed to introduce more of the culture to Panama City.
Brevard County
Pepe’s Cantina
MELBOURNE, FL — Pepe’s Cantina is targeting a first-week-of-August opening at 7700 N. Wickham Road, Suite 101, Melbourne, FL 32940, Alejandro Diaz told Business Debut. Diaz is opening the restaurant with his wife, Luisana Rodriquez, and partners Franco Massacessi and Pedro Massacessi, who also served as the realtors who helped secure the space.

Dutchies Ice Cream Boat
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Dutchies Ice Cream Boat, operated by Dirk Van Onselder and his girlfriend and business partner Angela Anker, serves Fort Lauderdale’s waterfront communities with two boats offering ice cream, drinks and boat-day essentials. Van Onselder told Business Debut the team is now working to add a floating hot dog cart service, with a launch targeted within the next two weeks pending state permitting.
Golf Vault
DAVIE, FL — Golf Vault, a new golf simulator lounge from Chris Flores and Gil Martin, is targeting an end of June or July 1 opening at 4900 S. University Drive, Suite 205, Davie, FL 33328, Martin told Business Debut. The locally owned concept will combine golf simulators, lounge seating, food and drinks, and event space in a roughly 4,000-square-foot second-floor location above Pinza 104.
Kook's Conch Fritters
POMPANO BEACH, FL — Kook's Conch Fritters, a female veteran-owned pop-up serving South Florida, is targeting a June 10, 2026 launch and will make its first event appearance at Juneteenth South Broward on June 20 at Washington Park in Hollywood, owner Cassius told Business Debut. The business will serve Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties, starting primarily in Broward County.

Boost Coffee & Energy
JACKSONVILLE, FL — Boost Coffee & Energy is planning a June 3 grand opening for its first location at 7253 103rd St, Jacksonville, FL 32210, CMO Monica McDaniels told Business Debut. Boost Coffee & Energy will be a drive-thru coffee and energy brand focused on fast service, customizable drinks and higher-quality ingredients, McDaniels told Business Debut.

Frosti
BUNNELL, FL — Frosti, a locally owned ice cream shop from owner Ashot Zatikyan and general manager Nicole Gannett, is preparing to open at 606 N State Street, Bunnell, FL, 32110. Gannett told Business Debut the shop is waiting on inspection and is targeting an opening within the next two weeks. Guests can expect a small, family-owned shop serving ice cream, smoothies, milkshakes, hot coffee, and iced coffee, Gannett told Business Debut.
Mile Marker 803 Clubhouse
PALM COAST, FL — Mile Marker 803 Clubhouse, a new upscale sports bar and restaurant from Chris Moore and Pamela Moore, is targeting a July 1 opening at 101 Palm Harbor Pkwy, Suites A101-102, Palm Coast, FL 32137 in the European Village, Chris Moore told Business Debut. The Moores also own the Pelican Pub in St. Augustine, and Savannah Williams has joined Mile Marker 803 Clubhouse as general manager.

Mike's Deli Inc.
PORT ST. JOE, FL — Mike's Deli Inc. is bringing a Motor City deli menu and fresh pasta to Port St. Joe, targeting a June 1st opening at 301 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Port St. Joe, FL 32456, pending final approvals. Owner Mike Coraci told Business Debut the Detroit-rooted deli will open in the former Cozy Cafe space.

Rose's Coffee & Cones
TAMPA, FL — Rose's Coffee & Cones is preparing to open soon at 2206 E. 7th Ave., Tampa, FL 33605 in historic Ybor City. Owner Birgul Lemmon told Business Debut the shop is waiting on a final state inspection and is targeting an opening in about two weeks. The coffee and ice cream shop is dedicated to Lemmon’s mother, Remzy, who had long dreamed of opening a place of her own.

Willy Buck’s Backyard Grill
LEESBURG, FL — Willy Buck’s Backyard Grill is preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar location in mid-June at 1317 S. 14 Street, Leesburg, FL 34748. Owner Michael Brown told Business Debut the restaurant is tentatively targeting June 11th, with the possibility of opening one week later if needed.

Grill Bowl
OCALA, FL — Grill Bowl is planning to open its first location on May 25 at 3100 SW College Road, Unit 95, Ocala, FL 34474, owner Ezzat Abdelaty told Business Debut. Abdelaty previously owned Golden Spoon Diner locations before selling them last year. Grill Bowl will be a counter-service restaurant focused on Mediterranean-style bowls, wraps and grilled proteins.
Miami-Dade County
Maestro Italian Bakery
NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL — Maestro Italian Bakery, led by interviewed partner Gabriele Bellini and Founder and CEO Moreno Brugnoni, is preparing to open at 3067 NE 163rd Road, North Miami Beach, FL 33160. Bellini told Business Debut the team is finalizing licensing requirements and is targeting an opening by the beginning of June.
Mitch’s Downtown Bagel Cafe
CORAL GABLES, FL — Mitch’s Downtown Bagel Cafe is planning its fifth location and first Miami-Dade restaurant at 271 Alhambra Circle, Coral Gables, FL 33134. Adam Shidlofsky, whose father Mitchell Shidlofsky helped start the concept, told Business Debut the team is targeting an opening in early 2026.

Pirate Island Pizza And BBQ
FERNANDINA BEACH, FL — Pirate Island Pizza And BBQ, a pirate-themed food trailer from owner Llew Sutton, is targeting a June 2 opening at 22 S. 8th St., Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, where it will be set up Tuesdays at First Love Brewing. Sutton said the trailer will also be available for events throughout Nassau County.
Orange County
Fresh Kitchen
WINTER PARK, FL — Fresh Kitchen, the Florida-based build-your-own bowl concept founded by the Lanza family, James Lanza and his sons, Matt and Steve, is targeting a late 2026 opening for its 18th location at 818 S. Orlando Ave., Winter Park, FL 32789. The restaurant, part of Ciccio Restaurant Group, will be overseen locally by Regional Partner Jordan Fowler, who oversees the brand’s five Orlando-area locations, CEO Tyler Azzarelli told Business Debut.
Scrape Ya Plate Food Truck
ORLANDO, FL — Scrape Ya Plate, a Jamaican cuisine food truck from Rajiv Graham and his wife, Nastasia Reid, is preparing to begin serving Seminole and Orange counties this month. Graham told Business Debut he is targeting an opening around May 26. Scrape Ya Plate will operate as a mobile food truck serving festivals, events and other locations across Seminole and Orange counties.

Hennessy Williams
WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Hennessy Williams, a food truck from chef and owner Anthony Santos, is preparing to launch around June 1, serving Palm Beach County, Martin County and Dade County, Santos told Business Debut. The truck will be primarily available in Palm Beach County, with service outside those areas available by request.
Tequesta Smokehouse
TEQUESTA, FL — Tequesta Smokehouse is bringing barbecue to an existing craft brewery at 287 US-1, Tequesta, FL 33469, with owner Mark Campbell targeting a mid- to late-June launch for the first phase of food service, Campbell told Business Debut. They will begin with quick-service and to-go barbecue before adding full-service dining toward the end of 2026.

Cousin Vinny’s Sandwich Co.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Cousin Vinny’s Sandwich Co. is planning a second location at 2063 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg, FL 33713, chef and co-owner Vinny Andriotti told Business Debut. The team is targeting a November opening, pending construction.
St. Johns County
Deja Brew Coffee
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL — Deja Brew Coffee is opening a second coffee trailer June 6 at 6205 FL 16, St. Augustine, FL 32092. Owner Jaimie Baptista told Business Debut the permanently parked trailer will give the business a dedicated location while its first trailer continues serving St. Johns County.
