Meat Master Burger — Hollywood
Address: 6770 Stirling Rd, Hollywood, FL 33024
Status: Targeting a mid- to late-August opening.
What to expect: Kosher burger takeout concept from butcher and owner Avraham Dadon. The restaurant will operate next to Dadon’s existing Meat Master Kosher Butchery and draw directly from the butchery for its beef.
Menu highlights: About seven to eight burger options, each starting at roughly a half pound of meat. French fries and other basic burger shop sides will also be available.
Service style: Counter-service and takeout-focused, with a compact 650-square-foot space and kitchen.
Who’s behind it: Butcher and owner Avraham Dadon.
Neo Coffee and Kava — Plantation
Address: 1483 South University Drive, Plantation, FL 33324
Status: Targeting the first week of August.
What to expect: Upscale coffee and kava bar built around wellness, spirit-free socializing and health-oriented food. The space combines a coffee program, kava bar, relaxation drinks and alcohol-free cocktails.
Menu highlights: Coffee drinks, kava, alcohol-free mojitos and margaritas, breakfast tacos, avocado toast, grain bowls, salads, sandwiches, wraps, flatbreads, açai bowls, protein shakes, smoothies and cold-pressed juices.
Space details: About 2,400 square feet with an open layout, two bars, lounge seating, industrial design and modern finishes.
Entertainment: Live music, jazz-style programming, small shows and DJs are planned.
Who’s behind it: Owner Ruth Connors, who also owns Neo Facto Design and is serving as contractor and designer on the project.
Mystic Social Club — Dania Beach
Address: 242 East Dania Beach Blvd, Dania Beach, FL 33004
Status: Targeting a fall opening.
What to expect: Caribbean-infused social club and restaurant with an indoor-outdoor venue, rental lounge space, full music program and a menu pulling from several Caribbean islands.
Menu highlights: Jerk chicken, jerk pork, conch pasta, oxtail pasta, Trinidadian doubles and Bahamian conch salad.
Entertainment: Live DJs, occasional bands and music styles including soca, reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, R&B, country and more.
Audience: The concept is designed for locals, cruise travelers and snowbirds staying in Dania Beach before sailing from Port Everglades.
Hours: Planned six days a week from lunch through dinner, with happy hour. Final days and hours are still to be announced.
