3 Coming Soon Broward County Restaurants

Broward County has three new restaurant concepts on the way, including a kosher pareve restaurant, an expanding barbecue brand and a compact kosher burger shop. Here’s what to expect from each opening.

Sababa Hummus House — Parkland

Address: 7515 N SR-7, Parkland, FL 33433

Status: Targeting an opening within about 10 days to two weeks of the owner’s August 31 interview, depending on final city approvals.

What to expect: Sababa Hummus House will be a kosher pareve restaurant with about 48 seats and takeout service. The restaurant will also offer a Shabbat menu that customers can preorder and pick up to serve at home.

Menu highlights: The menu will contain no meat or dairy and will instead focus on fish, vegetables and health-conscious dishes. Signature items will include Moroccan-style salmon, malawa and hummus.

Hours: Planned hours are 10 a.m.–8 p.m. most operating days. The restaurant will close at 5 p.m. Fridays and remain closed Saturdays for Shabbat.

Who’s behind it: Olena Chuienko previously owned restaurants in Europe. Sababa Hummus House will be her first business in the United States.

Reb's Famous BBQ — Margate

Address: 4976 W Atlantic Blvd, Margate, FL 33063

Status: Targeting a late October 2026 opening.

What to expect: The Margate restaurant will expand Reb’s Famous BBQ beyond its existing takeout-focused Fort Lauderdale location by adding a full dining area. The larger space will also give the owners room to bring more of their catering dishes into everyday restaurant service.

Menu highlights: Smoked ribs and chicken will remain core offerings, prepared over cherry oak wood on a large rotisserie. Southern sides include baked mac and cheese, seafood rice, collard greens and hand-cut candied yams, while brisket and additional chicken dishes are planned for the Margate menu.

Hours: The current plan is Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Hours could change before opening.

Who’s behind it: Lynette and Jerell Mash grew Reb’s Famous BBQ from a home-based operation into a food trailer and eventually a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. The Margate location is the next step in the family-owned brand’s expansion.

Meat Master Burger — Hollywood

Address: 6770 Stirling Rd, Hollywood, FL 33024

Status: Coming soon, exact date not announced.

What to expect: Meat Master Burger will be a compact kosher burger shop located directly next to Meat Master Kosher Butchery. The approximately 650-square-foot restaurant will focus primarily on counter service and takeout.

Menu highlights: The concept plans around seven or eight burger varieties, with each burger starting at approximately a half-pound of American beef. French fries and other familiar burger-shop sides will complete the streamlined menu.

Hours: To be announced.

Who’s behind it: Butcher Avraham Dadon owns both Meat Master Burger and the neighboring Meat Master Kosher Butchery, giving the restaurant direct access to the meat operation next door.
