PARKLAND, FL — Sababa Hummus House, a new kosher pareve restaurant from owner Olena Chuienko, is preparing to open soon at 7515 N Sr-7, Parkland, FL 33433, Chuienko told Business Debut in a phone interview.

Chuienko said the team is waiting on final city steps and aims to open within about two weeks.

What to Expect

Sababa Hummus House will seat about 48 guests in a compact dining room. Takeout will be available, and Chuienko plans a Shabbat menu that guests can pre-order and pick up for home. All food will be kosher certified.

The restaurant will be kosher pareve, with no meat or dairy products on the menu. Expect a menu comprised of vegetables and fish, with an emphasis on health.

One of the signature offerings will be Moroccan fish, which Chuienko plans to prepare with salmon. The menu also will include malawa and hummus.

Chuienko previously owned restaurants in Europe, and this will be her first US-based business.

Opening Timeline

Chuienko said she hopes to open Sababa Hummus House within 10 days to two weeks of her August 31 interview, depending on remaining approvals from the city.

Hours

Sababa Hummus House plans daily service from 10 a.m. — 8 p.m., Chuienko shared with Business Debut.

On Fridays, the restaurant will close at 5 p.m.

The business will close for Shabbat on Saturdays.
