Here are three new and coming soon restaurants and entertainment spots opening in Broward. Don't miss what's new in your area.

Bunkerr Golf Lounge — Plantation

Address: 801 S University Dr Ste C-138, Plantation, FL 33324

Status: Now open.

What to expect: Independently owned golf simulator lounge with three simulator bays, lounge-style seating and space for groups. Guests can book time to play full rounds on virtual courses from around the world.

Experience highlights: The simulators can be used for serious golf practice or casual group play. Guests can also play putting and chipping games in a more carnival-style format, making the venue accessible for families, friends and golfers at different skill levels.

Menu highlights: Bunkerr Golf Lounge currently serves beer and wine. A concessions program is expected to launch in the next few weeks, with planned items including gourmet hot dogs, flatbread pizzas and quesadillas.

Hours: Monday–Thursday 10 a.m.–8 p.m.; Friday–Saturday 10 a.m.–10 p.m.; Sunday noon–6 p.m.

H & R Sports Bar and Grill — Pompano Beach

Address: 2555 E Atlantic Blvd, Pompano Beach, FL 33062

Status: The project is still several months away from opening, depending on permitting and buildout.

What to expect: Sports-focused bar and grill designed as a game day destination for fans of all teams. The restaurant is expected to include close to 40 TVs throughout the venue.

Space details: Plans call for about 60 seats inside and 60 seats outside, giving the restaurant a large indoor-outdoor setup near Atlantic Boulevard.

Menu highlights: American-style bar food, including chicken wings, burgers, sandwiches and other game day staples. The owners also plan to offer specialty items such as a kielbasa Philly and a rotating specialty burger Monday through Friday.

Essenza Italian Eatery & Market — Fort Lauderdale

Address: 2831 E Commercial Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308

Status: Opened May 25.

What to expect: Full-service Italian eatery and market open from breakfast through dinner. The restaurant includes 94 seats, table service, a bar area, bakery cases, gelato, desserts and a market component.

Menu highlights: Fresh homemade pasta, focaccia, pastries, gelato, desserts, beer, wine and Italian entrees. Planned dishes include osso buco with polenta, rabbit with rosemary and olives over mashed potatoes, and swordfish with caponata.

Pasta and market: Essenza offers 19 pasta options, with sauces such as carbonara, puttanesca, pistachio pesto and tortellini with panna. Fresh pasta will also be sold by the pound, with sauces available to take home.

Dessert highlights: The restaurant carries Passion Tiramisu, Maria Avallone’s tiramisu brand. The line includes more than 20 flavors, including peanut butter, key lime pie, white chocolate, Baileys, Nutella, amaretto, coconut, limoncello and red berries.

Wine program: Essenza serves Italian beer, wine and aperitivo offerings. Guests who enjoy a wine at the restaurant will be able to purchase it to take home at 25% off, and a wine club is planned.

Hours: Tuesday–Sunday 8 a.m.–9 p.m.; closed Monday.
