The Friendly's brand is bringing a new location to Orlando as soon as next month, franchisee Amol Kohli told FFBW. Friendly's, known for their cheery and festive atmosphere, launched an impressive new restaurant design last year, and Kohli is excited to bring it to Central Florida.

The new restaurant is taking over the space left vacant by Panera Bread at 8600 Vineland Ave, Orlando, FL 32821. Kohli said that they will have about 150 seats. As per the new design, this unit will have an ice cream and soda fountain area for those wanting something quick and sweet. Additionally, they will have some new menu items, along with the familiar breakfast, lunch and dinner options.

The restaurant will feature a drive through, online ordering, takeout, and delivery. Once opened, Kohli also hopes to include an outdoor seating area. As of now, Kohli anticipates opening in mid-to-late February. They will hire 50-60 staff members.

Kohli started his career as a waiter for Friendly's. Now, he is the licensee of several locations between Florida and New Jersey.

Keep up with the brand's website and social media.
