New in New Port Richey: Main Street Food Opening Soon

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Main Street Food, a new late-night street food spot from owner Jason Bryant, is planned for 5743 Main Street New Port Richey, FL 34652.

Bryant, a St. Petersburg native, said the idea formed after moving to New Port Richey with his family and exploring downtown.

He described looking for something to eat later in the evening and finding limited options as a turning point. “That was really the inspiration, just wanting to fill that gap and do something with my touch on it,” Bryant said.

Main Street Food is taking over the corner unit formerly occupied by Gone Juicing Cafe.

What to Expect

Expect a grab-and-go concept with some dine-in seating. He said the space will feature music and a casual setting.

Bryant has worked in restaurants and bars, including ownership roles at the Manhattan Casino in St. Petersburg and The Catalyst on the Deuces.

The menu will feature tacos in a variety of flavors, wings, boiled peanuts, hot dogs, sausages, and popcorn. Bryant said the focus is quick, simple food with flavor. “Just thinking straight street food,” Bryant said. “This is like the new era of New Port Richey and we’re part of that wave,” Bryant told Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

Bryant said he is targeting late October for opening, depending on permits and remaining build-out.

Hours

Main Street Food will open in phases. Bryant said the business will start with evening hours Thursday through Saturday as operations ramp up.

The goal schedule is 11 a.m. — 11 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. — 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, Bryant told Business Debut.
He said the team will phase into those hours after opening and staffing.
