Hospitality Veteran Opening Morgan's on Main in New Port Richey

After 14 years of bartending, Morgan Brown is opening her own spot.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Morgan's on Main, an upscale neighborhood bar and social dining destination, is planned for 5811 Main St, New Port Richey, FL 34652, owner Morgan Brown told Business Debut in a phone interview.

The 120-seat bar and restaurant aims to open before Thanksgiving.
Brown has partnered with Keith Krueger, a well known restaurateur and entrepreneur in the area, to launch the concept.

What to Expect

Expect Morgan's on Main to be a stylish, social gathering place with a rooted, neighborhood feel. The space will feature a large wraparound bar designed for customer service and visibility across the room, Brown told Business Debut. Multiple TVs throughout the bar will carry a full football package so guests can watch a wide range of games.

Families will be able to dine during the day and evening while the kitchen is open. After 11 p.m., the focus will shift toward a late-night bar environment.

The menu will feature elevated bar favorites, including appetizers, burgers, handhelds, wings, entrees, and desserts. Brown reported that every burger on the menu will be a smashburger style.

Starters will include ahi tuna, which can also be added to salads, and a rotating monthly egg roll that changes based on guest suggestions, Brown shared said. Guests will be able to mix and match hot and cold dips.

Other planned items include flatbreads, a French dip-style sandwich with au jus, and desserts such as mini churros (which are designed to be shareable) and a double chocolate cake.

An exciting addition to the brand's menu will be their signature mocktails. "We’re putting a lot of thought into creating an elevated, creative selection of nonalcoholic cocktails that are just as exciting as our traditional cocktails," Brown said.

Expect refreshing passion fruit, blood orange, spicy tropical flavors and more.

Ownership Background

Morgan's On Main is Brown's first owned restaurant after about 16 years working in the industry. Brown has worked as a bartender for 14 of those years, which shaped how she laid out the bar.

“I've designed this bar to be literally the best customer service you should ever have,” Brown said. The bar layout and open floor plan are intended to keep staff connected to guests throughout the space.

Brown partnered with Keith Krueger, who owns multiple businesses and hospitality projects in the region.
