PALM BAY, FL – Joy Japan plans to open a new Japanese restaurant at 9179 Babcock St SE Ste 105 Palm Bay, FL 32909, owner Xudong Zheng told Business Debut in a phone interview.
Zheng said the team is targeting an opening in early October and will announce the exact date on the restaurant’s website.

Flora Trattoria Italiana
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Flora Trattoria Italiana is preparing to open at 1021 E Las Olas Boulevard Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 with an 180-seat indoor and patio setup targeting an opening before the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, owner Michele Vandenbossch told Business Debut in a phone interview.
Vandenbossch said the team is working toward an opening at the end of October, ahead of the boat show dates he expects will run October 28 — November 1.

Lake City Ice Cream Company
LAKE CITY, FL — Lake City Ice Cream Company is preparing to open at 228 N Marion Ave, Lake City, FL 32055, with owner Joel Vann targeting an October 1 debut, Vann told Business Debut in a phone interview.

Philly Boyz
FERNANDINA BEACH, FL — Philly Boyz is preparing a new brick-and-mortar restaurant to the former A1A Cidery location at 230 South 8th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, owner Joseph Zimmerman told Business Debut in a phone interview.
The site will carry the Philly Boyz name on the door while continuing to produce A1A-branded cider on site.
Orange County
Ceviche Arigato
ORLANDO, FL — Ceviche Arigato plans to open a new 150-seat restaurant in December at 4898 S Kirkman Rd, Orlando, FL 32801, owner Rosemary Batzel told Business Debut.
The Orlando location will be the third Ceviche Arigato restaurant in Florida. They have locations in Weston and West Palm Beach. The concept centers on a Peruvian and Japanese fusion menu developed from Batzel's family recipes.
Palm Beach County
Cluck Face Nashville Hot Chicken
WELLINGTON, FL -- Cluck Face Nashville Hot Chicken is expanding in Palm Beach County, with franchisees Dave and Nancy Chapman preparing three new locations at 1347 State Road 7 Unit 3-105, Wellington, FL 33414; 1950 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33409; and 1911 S Federal Hwy, Delray Beach, FL 33483.
The Wellington restaurant is targeting an opening within 45 days, West Palm Beach is planned for the first quarter of 2027, and Delray Beach is planned for January 21, Chapman shared with Business Debut in a phone interview.

Carúpano Kitchen
SAINT PETERSBURG, FL – Carúpano Kitchen, a Venezuelan comfort food concept from owner Andrea Osorio with her mother, Diann Cedeño, and wife Lauren Haley, is targeting a mid-November opening at 1040 4th St North, Saint Petersburg, FL 33701. The announcement follows nearly a year of successfully popping up in the community while being based in a shared commercial kitchen space in St. Pete.
Osorio shared the plans with Business Debut in a phone interview.
Polk County
Paaji Indian Cuisine
WINTER HAVEN, FL — A new full service Indian restaurant, Paaji Indian Cuisine, is planned for 1959 21St St Nw Winter Haven, FL 33881, owners Harpreet and his son Aman Panesar told Business Debut in a recent phone interview.
The team is working toward opening the concept this October.
Sarasota County
Black Kirin Modern Asian
SARASOTA, FL — Black Kirin Modern Asian, a new full service restaurant, is in build-out at 3255 University Parkway, Sarasota, FL 34243. Owner Rong Chen shared that they are targeting an opening around late November or early December.
Chen said the restaurant will take over a former Applebee's location and undergo a full interior overhaul. “We are redoing the kitchen, the whole kitchen, and the bar,” Chen told Business Debut.
Comptoir: The Counter Café
SARASOTA, FL — Comptoir: The Counter Café, a new French-inspired daytime café from owner and chef Gregory Desvenain and co-owner Cemantha Crain, is coming to 2805 N Tamiami Trl Sarasota, FL 34234, Crain told Business Debut in a recent phone interview.

Digino's
CASSELBERRY, FL — Digino's at 1271 Semoran Blvd (Sr 436), Casselberry, FL 32707 has completed a full renovation and menu pivot from a pizza concept to a brunch restaurant with Slavic influences, owner Dana Temirbayeva told Business Debut.
Temirbayeva said she finished a major renovation in December that updated the dining room, furnishings and kitchen setup.
“I did the renovation, I have changed everything like the dishes, the furniture, everything,” Temirbayeva said.
St. Lucie County
Kinfolks Biscuit Company
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL — Kinfolks Biscuit Company plans to open a full-service Southern brunch and weekend dinner restaurant targeting early to mid-November at 723 SW Port St Lucie Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953, owner Willie Roundtree told Business Debut.
The concept expands the Kinfolks brand, which Roundtree launched in 2018 to serve Southern comfort dishes. The new Port St. Lucie restaurant will become the group’s third operating location.
