Each week, we stay on the phone with business owners who are working on exciting new openings. This past week was no exception. Here are the restaurants we found between 6/9/26 – 6/15/26.

Chatham County

Smashbird

SAVANNAH, GA — Smashbird, a new fast-casual burger concept from owners Christine and David Cutlip, is targeting a mid-July opening at 13051 Abercorn St, Ste B5, Savannah, GA 31419, Christine Cutlip told Business Debut. The Cutlips also operate Savannah Seafood Shack, Savannah Smokehouse BBQ and Brew, Yatai Ramen + Yakitori, and Sally Mae's in the Savannah area.

Honey's Po'boys and Gumbo

MARIETTA, GA – Honey's Po'boys and Gumbo, a Louisiana-inspired restaurant, is under construction at 2667 Powder Springs Rd SW Ste 102, Marietta, GA 30064, owner Angela Randolph told Business Debut. Randolph and her brother and business partner, Lionel Thomas, are preparing the space after over 20 years in the catering business.

High Noon Brunchery

ATLANTA, GA – High Noon Brunchery, Georgia's first all-pink café and brunch destination, is relocating its flagship restaurant in Douglasville to Buckhead at 2285 Peachtree Rd, Atlanta, GA 30309, according to a company press statement. The Buckhead location will carry forward the established experience that has made them popular on social media and drew a lot of out-of-state guests.

Rocky Claws

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Rocky Claws, a Cajun seafood restaurant concept that traces its roots to Seoul, South Korea, is preparing to open its first U.S. location at 11300 Medlock Bridge Rd Ste 340, Johns Creek, GA 30097. Owner Sean Kim told Business Debut the restaurant is targeting a soft opening at the end of June, followed by a grand opening on July 1.

Villa Mella Restaurant

LILBURN, GA – Villa Mella Restaurant is preparing to open at 411 Beaver Ruin Rd, Lilburn, GA 30047, with a focus on Dominican-style chicharróns and fried pork dishes, owner Jonny Solano told Business Debut in a recent interview. The location previously operated as a sports bar under different names, and Solano said he purchased the business and is now converting it to a Dominican restaurant concept.

WOODBURY, GA – Riverside Bar & Grill, a new family sports bar from owner Faiz Jiwani, is planned for 29 River Cove Rd, Woodbury, GA 30293, next to Sunnyside Country Store. It will be a family sports bar with a focus on casual food and televised sports. Jiwani said the menu will center on wings, pizza, bar bites, chili dogs and a range of sandwiches.
