Veratina, The New Italian Concept in Savannah, Now Open
Veratina, a new Italian restaurant with Southern flair, is open near Forsyth Park.

Veratina, an Italian restaurant with Southern inspiration, opened near Forsyth Park in Savannah on December 11th, according the brand's Facebook page. They appear to be open only for lunch at the moment with dinner hours coming soon.
Owned by husband and wife team Alicia Farrell and James Ciminillo, the restaurant offers a fusion of homemade pastas and pizzas and local southern ingredients and dishes.
The restaurant seats around 100 guests and features two bars: a traditional bar and a bar with views of the open kitchen. In addition to their homemade pastas and pizzas, diners can expect Southern fare like roasted sweet potatoes, collard greens and more.
Veratina promises a blend of Italian and Southern flavors in the heart of Savannah, Farrell and Ciminillo told Business Debut in October, as they prepared to open.
