Veratina Bringing Italian-Southern Fusion to Savannah This October
Veratina, a new Italian restaurant with Southern flair, is opening near Forsyth Park, offering homemade pastas, pizzas, and Southern-inspired dishes.
Veratina, an Italian restaurant with Southern inspiration, is set to open near Forsyth Park in Savannah by the end of October. Owned by husband and wife team Alicia Farrell and James Ciminillo, the restaurant will offer a fusion of homemade pastas and pizzas and local southern ingredients and dishes.
The restaurant will seat around 100 guests and feature two bars: a traditional bar and a bar with views of the kitchen. In addition to their homemade pastas and pizzas, diners can expect Southern fare like roasted sweet potatoes, collard greens and more.
