CEO Shares Plans for Butcher and Bottle in Ball Ground
This will be the hospitality group's 7th location.
BALL GROUND, GA — Intentional Expectations Hospitality Group plans to open Butcher and Bottle at 235 Gilmer Ferry Road, Ball Ground, GA 30107, marking the restaurant group's seventh location and third Butcher and Bottle steakhouse in North Georgia, founder and CEO Adam Anaker told Business Debut.
What to Expect
The Ball Ground restaurant will occupy the Haithcock building, which is two stories and 4,800-square-feet. It will feature a large double-deck patio, with total seating a little over 250.
Anaker said the downstairs level will include a bar and semi-open kitchen, while the upstairs will offer another bar and main dining room space suited for private events such as wedding rehearsals and graduations.
Menu and Vision
Butcher and Bottle is IEHG’s elevated, chef-driven steakhouse concept built around Southern-inspired cuisine. “Great steaks, fresh seafood, thoughtful food, polished hospitality,” Anaker said.
The Ball Ground menu will build on the Ellijay and Alpharetta locations. All three restaurants feature seasonal dishes. Anaker said each location’s chef will have room to shape dishes, giving every Butcher and Bottle its own identity while retaining core menu items.
The beverage program will center on premium bourbons and spirits, handcrafted cocktails and a curated wine selection that Anaker said he and COO Brian Stanley plan to build together. The concept is positioned so guests can visit for a steak-and-wine occasion or return for seafood, cocktails or bar bites as part of a regular dining routine.
Ownership Background
Anaker launched Intentional Expectations Hospitality Group as a faith-based and family-oriented business in 2020. He previously worked in corporate roles for larger restaurant chains, where he managed marketing, beverage, culinary and purchasing departments.
“Everybody else went to college. I just managed them and learned from them,” Anaker said.
IEHG now operates three concepts: Butcher and Bottle, B&B Tavern and B&B Social. Together with Stanley and the broader leadership team, Anaker has grown the group to seven restaurants with the addition of Ball Ground.
Anaker said he has spent years in and around Ball Ground, including time on nearby hunting land, and has watched residential growth create demand for more full-service dining.
“I believe Ball Ground is ready for a restaurant like The Butcher & Bottle, and our goal is to build something this community can really be proud of,” he said in the release.
An official opening date has not been announced.
Hours
Butcher and Bottle will be open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On Sunday, they will serve brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and closing at 9 p.m.
