Cuzco Peruvian and Latin Kitchen Replacing Tortugas Cuban Grill in Peachtree Corners
Peruvian concept plans an OTP location.
PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA – Cuzco Peruvian and Latin Kitchen is replacing Tortugas Cuban Grill at 3466 Holcomb Bridge Rd AA, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092, owner Joel Manrique Flores told Business Debut. This is the same brand that currently operates in Brookhaven.
Flores said the team is targeting a late January or early February opening as they remodel the former Tortugas space.
What to Expect
The Peachtree Corners restaurant will follow a full-service model similar to the original Cuzco Peruvian Cuisine in Brookhaven. The key difference in this location will be the inclusion of dishes from Latin-American counties other than Peru. In particular, expect Cuban dishes to be on the menu.
One of their most popular dishes is lomo saltado, steak tips sautéed in a wok with onions, tomatoes, soy sauce, cilantro, and served with rice and fries.
Another dish he plans to feature is arroz chaufa, a Peruvian fried rice built on Chinese culinary influence and Peruvian ingredients.
Flores also mentioned aeropuerto, a combination of fried rice and thick noodles, and Nikkei-style items that reflect Japanese influence, including sushi rolls and tiradito, a raw fish dish similar to ceviche but cut more like sashimi.
He said the broader goal is to bring Peruvian gastronomy and culture to metro Atlanta communities that may be unfamiliar with it and to give diners opportunities to try a range of Latin dishes under one roof.

Ownership Background
Cuzco Peruvian and Latin Kitchen is a family-owned business from Flores and his mother, Marylin Flores.
Flores said the idea for a restaurant took root when he was about 12 years old and his parents cooked and sold Peruvian food each year at a local festival held around Peru’s Independence Day on July 28.
“So many people complimented us, loved the food, and they were like, 'you guys should open a restaurant,' and that always stuck in the back of my mom’s head,” Flores told Business Debut.
Cuzco Peruvian Cuisine has been open for about a year and a half in Brookhaven.
Opening Timeline
Flores said remodeling is underway and that the team is targeting a late January or early February opening.
An exact opening date is to be announced.
