Brasa Negra Opening in Sebring
Mexican brunch and steakhouse coming soon.
SEBRING, FL — Brasa Negra, a new Mexican brunch and steakhouse restaurant, is targeting a mid-January opening at 139 North Ridgewood Drive Suite 103 Sebring, FL 33870, co-owner Benito Martinez told Business Debut in a recent phone interview.
What to Expect
Brasa Negra will operate with two distinct service styles in one space.
The restaurant will offer a sit-down Mexican brunch service during the day, then transition into a full-service Mexican steakhouse and bar in the evenings, Martinez told Business Debut.
The dining room will seat about 80 guests inside with room for about 70 more on an outdoor patio.
Menu and Vision
The daytime menu will center on Mexican brunch dishes.
Martinez said chilaquiles with house-made green sauce, eggs, and steak will anchor the brunch offerings, along with breakfast burritos, Mexican breakfast sandwiches, tacos, pancakes, omelets, and avocado toast. Enchiladas, quesadillas, Mexican egg preparations with sides such as refried beans, and pastries will round out the morning menu.
For evenings, Brasa Negra will focus on steaks and seafood. Martinez plans to serve cuts ranging from ribeye and filet mignon to tomahawk steaks, plus rotating fish selections. Starters will include guacamole with pork rinds and queso fundido with chorizo, along with soups and salads, he said.
Seafood offerings will feature mariscos-style plates and aguachiles in several variations. The dinner program will also incorporate a Japanese influence through a sushi menu.
Ownership Background
Brasa Negra is the first restaurant for brothers Benito and Carlos Martinez.
