New in Sebring: Rhythm and Brews Coming Soon
Here's the latest in Sebring's restaurant opening news.
SEBRING, FL – Local couple Crystal and Bruce Contreras plan to open Rhythm and Brews, a classic rock-focused restaurant and music venue, at 6130 US-98, Sebring, FL 33876, in the former Zach's Breakfast Cafe space, Contreras shared with Business Debut in a phone interview.
The space sits in the plaza next to Subway across from Dollar General on U.S. 98, and the build-out will combine several former units into one large venue.
What to Expect
Rhythm and Brews is planned as a sit-down restaurant with a strong emphasis on live music, dancing and a classic rock atmosphere. Contreras said the layout will include a stage for performers, a dance floor and seating areas around both.
"We specifically want to have it focused more on a classic rock atmosphere," Contreras said. Wall decor will feature music memorabilia and guitars.
The owners are targeting seating for about 150 guests, with tables throughout the dining room and a bar seating area for guests who want to sit near the bar and listen to music.
Menu and Vision
Rhythm and Brews will serve beer and wine along with soft drinks and nonalcoholic options. "There will be some options that will be for all kinds of people," Contreras said. Specific menu items are still in the works.
Opening Timeline
The Contrerases are targeting early October for opening, with October 1 as a goal, and are prepared to shift into late October or November depending on construction and approvals.
Hours
Contreras plans to open Rhythm and Brews seven days a week. Daily opening time is expected around 10 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. to serve golfers and lunch guests.
Closing time will likely fall around 11 p.m. or possibly midnight to allow for cleanup after evening service and live music.
