Smoke Friendly BBQ Opening New Location in McDonough, GA
Building on the success of their original Covington location, the new spot will serve fan favorites like brisket and ribs alongside new menu items.
Smoke Friendly BBQ, a family-run barbecue restaurant, is opening a new location in McDonough, co-owner Rogey Wilson shared with Business Debut. Located at 59 Macon St, McDonough, GA 30253, the second location builds on the success of their original Covington restaurant, which has been serving the community with southern hospitality and great BBQ for the past four years.
The Wilson family—Rogey, his wife Staci, and their children Garrett and Madison—emphasizes creating a welcoming atmosphere where first-time customers become returning friends. The McDonough location will feature a similar menu to Covington, with popular items like brisket and ribs, while also introducing new options such as French fries and chicken tenders.
The restaurant will offer seating for about 20 guests inside, with plenty of additional space outdoors. Planned hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am - 8 pm, with the possibility of extending to 9 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Smoke Friendly BBQ is aiming for a January opening, pending successful inspections. For updates and more details, follow them on Facebook.
