Outside Seafood Opening Soon in Tampa

TAMPA, FL — Outside Seafood, a new sister concept to Outside BBQ, is preparing to open at 6844 N 50th St, Tampa, FL 33617, owner Jevonta Godwin shared with Business Debut in a recent phone interview.

Menu and Vision

Outside Seafood will serve a range of seafood dishes built around local product.

“We gonna have fresh shrimp, oysters, fish, crabs, all locally caught,” Godwin said.

He said he plans to offer different homemade pasta and rice dishes.

“All homemade style, just like Outside BBQ is all homemade,” Godwin shared with Business Debut. “It’s mainly a takeout with about 20 seats inside."

Ownership Background

Godwin also owns Outside BBQ, and he characterized Outside Seafood as a sister company that carries forward the Outside name while focusing on seafood. This will be his fifth restaurant. He is also opening a new location of Outside BBQ in Brandon, which we reported on here.

Opening Timeline

Godwin said he is looking at soft openings for Outside Seafood this month.

The Brandon location of Outside BBQ is likely to open in the 1-3 months.
