Coming Soon Brandon: Outside BBQ
This will be the brand's fourth location in greater Tampa Bay.
BRANDON, FL — Outside BBQ plans to open a new takeout location at 2016 Town Center Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, owner Jevonta “Tay” Godwin told Business Debut in a recent phone interview. The Brandon spot will expand the barbecue concept’s footprint beyond its existing locations in Tampa, St. Pete Beach, and Tarpon Springs.
What to Expect
Godwin said the Brandon store will carry the same menu as the existing Outside BBQ locations. The concept focuses on smoked meats, sandwiches and classic sides.
Menu items include a pulled pork sandwich, smoked brisket sandwich and a chopped chicken sandwich. Outside BBQ also serves ribs, loaded fries topped with meats and sauces, and combo platters that pair proteins with sides. Side options include mac and cheese, baked beans and coleslaw, according to the online menu.
Godwin said the Brandon restaurant will extend Outside BBQ’s reach to another high-traffic area of the Tampa Bay region.
The Brandon address sits inside a multi-tenant building that is being divided into three sections, Godwin shared with Business Debut in a phone interview. One section will house Outside BBQ’s takeout operation. The other portions of the building are planned as an event center and a separate full-service restaurant, according to Godwin.
Godwin said the Brandon site will operate as takeout only. He said the team has seen strong interest on social media from Brandon-area residents and visitors who want easier access to the brand’s barbecue.
Recent Openings

Opening Timeline
Godwin expects the Brandon location to open around October 1.
