West Coast Brand Better Buzz Coffee Opening Three Florida Locations
West Coast chain is opening 16 new locations in Florida.
BRANDON, FL — Better Buzz Coffee Roasters plans to expand in Central Florida with three new locations. The coffee brand, which has over 60 locations in California, Arizona and Nevada, is preparing to open 16 new locations by the end of 2027, according to Director of Pre-Construction Shawn Grant.
What to Expect
The Brandon store, at 1402 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, will be the first to open. They are targeted an opening for November 2026, and will convert an existing Steak ’n Shake building.
The second location will open in New Port Richey at 3290 Word Way, New Port Richey, FL 34655. The company is converting a former Aussie Grill site into a drive-thru, Grant said.
The Davenport location at 39837 Us Highway 27, Davenport, FL 33837 is targeting an opening toward the end of February 2027.
The Davenport location will convert a former Carl’s Jr. into a drive-thru coffee concept, Grant said.
The brand is known for bright colors and neon lights with what Grant described as a loud and bright look. “We definitely try to do more of a coastal vibe, kind of feel,” he said.
Better Buzz Coffee Roasters operates as a full coffee, tea and energy drink brand. Locations also serve breakfast and lunch menu items, which can be explored in detail here.
Background
Better Buzz Coffee Roasters started in 2002 and began accelerating growth around 2012 or 2013.
Grant serves as director of pre-construction and oversees new-site buildouts, he told Business Debut. Florida expansion is part of a broader growth plan between Tampa and Orlando that targets 16 locations in the ground by the end of 2027, Grant said.
