Mountain Mike’s Pizza Expanding to Florida with 10 Locations Planned

Mountain Mike’s Pizza, a popular West Coast pizza chain known for its family-friendly atmosphere, is making its way to Florida. Over the next five years, the brand plans to open 10 new locations across the Orlando, Tampa, and Sarasota areas, according to Ned Algeo, the CEO of Multipli Capital. Multipli Capital has partnered with Sean Morrison to form the BizBox Restaurant Group, to own and operate the pizzerias.

The expansion will include five stores in Orlando and five in the Tampa and Sarasota regions, with plans to debut one in each region in 2025. Algeo shared with Business Debut that they are actively scouting for locations.

Originating in Palo Alto, California, Mountain Mike’s Pizza is celebrated for its nostalgic pizza parlor feel, complete with an arcade and a family-friendly environment. The restaurant is ideal for birthday parties, post-sports gatherings, and community events, Algeo said.

In addition to Mountain Mike’s, Algeo and Morrison operate two 3Natives health cafés in Melbourne and downtown Orlando, with plans to expand that brand further as well.
