MIAMI, FL – Go Greek Yogurt is preparing to open a new yogurt bar at 7535 SW 88th Street, Suite 2021B, Miami, FL 33156, inside Dadeland Mall, co-owner Jonathan Patarkasi told Business Debut in a recent phone interview.

The shop sits near Pura Vida and the Apple Store, according to Patarkasi.

What to Expect

Go Greek Yogurt as an authentic yogurt bar rooted in Greek culture. The Dadeland location is a full storefront of about 867 square feet, with additional seating space outside the shop.

The shop offers both fresh and frozen Greek yogurt, along with smoothies and other beverage options. Patarkasi said the team aims to create an environment where guests feel transported to Greece.

Expect the menu to be comprised of quality, many of which are imported from Europe, Patarkasi told Business Debut. Guests can choose from more than 28 toppings for either fresh or frozen bowls.

Patarkasi said he often starts the day with a fresh yogurt bowl for breakfast or has one as a snack or post-workout. He cited the original tart and Greek honey fresh yogurt as a favorite, sometimes mixed together and topped with pomegranate seeds, walnuts, almonds, pistachios, Greek honey, and Greek olive oil.

On the frozen side, Patarkasi pointed to tart and honey flavors, chocolate, and a Greek biscuit flavor. The shop also rotates a vegan flavor each month, with coconut among the recurring options.

Ownership Background

The Dadeland Mall shop will be the third Go Greek Yogurt location for Patarkasi and business partner Marc Roberts in the Miami area, Patarkasi told Business Debut.

The pair is also working on additional locations in Miami Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Boca Raton, and Weston.

Outside of Go Greek Yogurt, Patarkasi owns Down to Earth, a health-focused ready-to-drink iced tea brand. The company plans a relaunch in aluminum cans, and the teas will be stocked in Go Greek Yogurt refrigerators.

Patarkasi also owns Loyal, a sugar-free sweetener brand. He said he is working on a new matcha retail concept that is expected to launch in Florida within about six months.

Opening Timeline

Patarkasi said the Dadeland location plans to begin operations in the next week or two.
