Quesadilla Kingz Bringing Tex-Mex Food Truck to Miami
The concept blends Tex-Mex flavors with a Miami-style approach to fast service.
MIAMI, FL — Quesadilla Kingz, a permanently parked food truck from Roberto Demarcos and business partner Kavin Artiles, is targeting a Memorial Day opening on Monday, May 25 at 5295 SW 122nd Ave, Miami, FL 33175. Demarcos told Business Debut the concept will mix Tex-Mex with Miami-style flavors in a fast-service food truck setting.
What to Expect
Guests can expect burritos, tacos, quesadillas, appetizers and sides from a menu designed for quick service, Demarcos told Business Debut. The food truck will start with limited seating, including two tables with four chairs each.
Demarcos said the team wants Quesadilla Kingz to feel like more than a food truck. “It’s not only the food. It’s about the brand as well,” he told Business Debut.
Menu and Vision
The menu will include chips with nacho cheese, salsa, chips and guacamole, bacon fries, chicken bacon fries, chicken tenders with fries, burritos, tacos and quesadillas, Demarcos told Business Debut.
One featured item will be El Tremendo, a burrito made with rice, cheese, pico de gallo and an extra-large tortilla. Demarcos said the outside will be fried so it is “crunchy but fluffy,” giving it a texture he said is not commonly found in Miami.
Quesadilla Kingz will open with five types of quesadillas. The lineup will include regular quesadillas with cheese and a choice of protein, along with a signature quesadilla the team is considering calling the Kingz Quesadilla, Demarcos told Business Debut. That item will include lettuce, tomato, sour cream, cheese and meat.
Sauces will include sriracha, chipotle, cilantro sauce and King Salsa. Demarcos said King Salsa will include mayo, mustard and habanero peppers for a spicy house sauce.
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting a May 26 opening, Demarcos told Business Debut.
Hours
Quesadilla Kingz plans to open from 5 p.m. to midnight every day except Wednesday, Demarcos told Business Debut. Weekend hours may extend to 1 or 2 a.m., depending on demand.
