RALEIGH, NC — Mikey's Pizzeria is targeting an opening in about two months at 2320 Bale St #114, Raleigh, NC 27608, owner Michael Longo told Business Debut. The restaurant is taking over the former Pizza and Pints location.

Longo, who is also opening Vic's Pizzeria in Wendall, is branching out from the Vic's Pizzeria brand with this opening.

What to Expect

The 2,700-square-foot space will have about 45 seats inside and roughly 20 to 30 seats outside, Longo told Business Debut. Service will be counter-style, with food brought to guests’ tables.

Longo said the restaurant will also serve beer and wine. He plans to add a few arcade-style games in the back.

Mikey's Pizzeria will serve pizza by the slice and 18-inch large pizzas, for families and larger to-go orders.

One of the key features will be a build-your-own pizza section at night. Guests will be given dough and will be able to make their own pizzas by hand before the kitchen bakes them and brings them to the table.

“You’re gonna make your own pizza, get dirty, have fun,” Longo told Business Debut. He said the activity could work for kids, adults and date nights.

Longo said the restaurant will primarily serve pizza once it opens. Later on, they will add a hood system and begin adding pastas and other items to the menu.
