Topsail Steamer to Debut in Raleigh

The Shark Tank-featured brand is opening in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, NC — Topsail Steamer, a take-home seafood boil concept featured on Shark Tank, is coming to 8111 Creedmoor Rd Suite 29, Raleigh, NC 27613. Franchisee sisters Renee Moore and Paige Rogalski are working through permitting and construction plans for the Raleigh location, Moore told Business Debut.

What to Expect

"We’re bringing the seafood boil experience home with convenient, ready-to-cook buckets packed for effortless entertaining and easy family meals," Moore told Business Debut.

Customers will be able to order online for pickup or walk in and have a bucket built in front of them. Each bucket is packed with fresh seafood and fixings, then taken home to steam with a cup of beer or water on a gas or electric stovetop, Moore told Business Debut.

The concept is designed for gatherings, including tailgates, birthdays, graduations and family meals. Topsail Steamer also provides paper for guests to lay out on the table before dumping out the seafood boil after cooking.

Guests can choose from the signature seafood bucket combinations or create their own custom bucket. Each order is made fresh and can include favorites like clams, scallops, crab legs, lobster tail, and shrimp, paired with corn, potatoes, kielbasa, and andouille sausage.

The Raleigh shop will also offer seasonings, sauces and butter with the buckets. “Everyone loves seafood boils,” Moore told Business Debut. “In this area, seafood boils are amazing and everybody’s like, you’ve got to go to the beach to get them. So bringing it to Raleigh, we’re excited to do that.”

Moore said she and Rogalski, who are also both realtors in the Raleigh market, grew up in the family restaurant industry in their hometown of Naperville, Illinois.

They were instantly drawn to the concept because it transforms the traditional seafood boil experience into something simple, seamless, and fun.

Instead of the hassle of shopping, prepping, seasoning, and coordinating everything yourself, Topsail Steamer makes it easy to bring people together with fresh, ready-to-cook seafood boil buckets designed for effortless entertaining and unforgettable meals at home.

Opening Timeline

Coming soon decals are expected to be placed in the windows soon, and construction is planned to begin once permits are approved, Moore told Business Debut. They hope to open this summer.
