Louisiana Bistro Gabe's Downtown is Opening in Villa Rica
Gabe's Downtown is set to reopen on December 1st in Villa Rica, featuring Louisiana cuisine, a banquet space, and a rooftop area.
Gabe's Downtown, a restaurant concept by Gabe and Tami Toups, is set to reopen in Villa Rica on December 1st at 129 Main St, Villa Rica, GA 30180, Gabe Toups shared with Business Debut. The City Menus reported the news initially.
After originally opening in Villa Rica in 2006, Gabe and Tami expanded to Douglasville in 2015, where both locations ran successfully for about eight years. However, Gabe reported that the Villa Rica location had to close due to the need for building restoration. Since closing, the Toups have been seeking to return to Villa Rica, and now they officially are.
The new Villa Rica spot will feature about 100 seats, a separate banquet space, a rooftop with an elevator, and a room dedicated to hosting wine dinners and cooking classes. Gabe Toups said that they are completely overhauling the space formerly occupied by Uncorked.
The kitchen will have three sections for different operations between catering, dining and prep. Gabe Toups shared that the Douglasville location will close as the new Villa Rica restaurant opens.
