7 New Restaurants Opening in Orange County, FL [July 6, 2026]

We've found a lot of new business openings in and around Orlando. Here are 7 upcoming restaurants we've interviewed in the past couple of weeks that are coming very soon.

Desi Chowrastha Indian Eatery — Orlando

Address: 6127 Westwood Blvd, Orlando, FL 32821

Status: Targeting the second week of October.

What to expect: Desi Chowrastha Indian Eatery is preparing a new Orlando restaurant in the former Curry Mantra Indian Cuisine space. The restaurant is undergoing interior work as franchisee Revanth Boddula and the team get it ready for guests.

Menu highlights: Chicken biryani, paneer biryani, goat biryani, egg biryani, samosas, dosas, curries and tandoor items.

More to know: The Orlando restaurant will join a recently opened Desi Chowrastha location in St. Johns County. The brand is also looking at Tampa-area sites for future expansion.

Koa Sushi — Mills 50 / Orlando

Address: 912 N Mills Ave, Orlando, FL 32803

Status: Targeting mid-July, with July 15 as the current goal.

What to expect: Koa Sushi is moving from a food hall stall into its first standalone brick-and-mortar restaurant. The Puerto Rican and Venezuelan-owned brand has been operating inside The Great Southern Box Company Food Hall since 2024.

Menu highlights: Fusion dishes inspired by Japanese, Latin and Hawaiian cooking, including Spam musubi, onigiri, poke bowls, spicy tuna rolls, California rolls and more.

Space details: Koa Sushi is taking over the former Grilled Cheezus space in Mills 50. The restaurant will offer counter service and is expected to stay open as late as 2 a.m. on weekends for the nearby bar crowd.

Hours: Likely six days a week. Exact hours are still to be announced.

Nep Sai Gon Bbq & Hotpot — Orlando

Address: 6817 Eagle Watch Dr #275, Orlando, FL 32822

Status: Targeting an August opening, pending permits and approvals.

What to expect: Vietnamese barbecue and hotpot restaurant built around shared table cooking. The restaurant is located across from Epic Theatres and is designed for groups gathering around the grill and broth.

Menu highlights: Vietnamese-style grilling, hotpot, rice paper wraps, grilled meats, herbs, sausages and authentic Vietnamese sauces.

Drink program: Beer and wine service is planned.

Hours: The restaurant plans to stay open until 1 a.m. to serve the late-night crowd coming from Epic Theatres.

Daje Pinsa — Orlando

Address: 7823 Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32809

Status: Targeting fall 2026. A specific opening month and date are still to be announced.

What to expect: Roman-style pinsa restaurant using imported Italian dough and a long fermentation process. Owner Gabriele Uberti chose pinsa because of its lighter dough, high hydration and roughly 72-hour fermentation process.

Menu highlights: Planned pinsas include Bella Roma with buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto, mushrooms, parmesan and white truffle oil; Daje with mozzarella, ricotta, black olives and ham; Mediterranea with tomato sauce, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, zucchini and black olives; Gamberetti with shrimp, mozzarella, zucchini and cocktail sauce; and Macellaio with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, pancetta and ham.

Experience: Daje Pinsa will operate as a fast-casual restaurant with self-service kiosks, table delivery and Roman-inspired design. The dining room will include a custom Roman arch, Colosseum-inspired murals and educational displays about pinsa.

Drink program: Wine and beer are planned, with some elements poured at the table.

Alma Argentina — College Park / Orlando

Address: 2304 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804

Status: Targeting an opening in about one month.

What to expect: Alma Argentina is opening its third restaurant location in College Park, joining existing locations in Oviedo and Celebration. The brand is also launching a new commissary kitchen in Casselberry to support empanada production and catering demand.

Menu highlights: Steaks, homemade empanadas, milanesas, beer, Argentine wines and other dishes rooted in Argentinian cuisine.

Market component: Each Alma Argentina location includes a small market area with Argentine packaged goods. The Casselberry commissary will offer frozen empanadas, prepared meats and Argentine grocery items for retail shoppers.

More to know: Owner Marisa Flores said Alma Argentina sells about 10,000 empanadas a month across its storefronts and catering orders.

Hours: Planned daily 10:30 a.m.–10 p.m.

50’S Diner — International Drive / Orlando

Address: 7223 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819

Status: Targeting a soft opening this week. A formal grand opening date is still to be announced.

What to expect: New 1950s-themed diner on International Drive with retro music, diner staples and a milkshake-focused menu.

Menu highlights: Quesadillas, burgers, pasta, pizza, fajitas, milkshakes and coffee. Pizza will be made in house.

Space details: The restaurant is about 1,400 square feet and will seat roughly 52 guests, with a mix of tables and a few booths.

Brand vision: Owner Uriel Rivera said 50’S Diner is the first step in a broader plan he calls the 50’S Restaurant Group. He hopes to eventually add other concepts, including Mexican and Italian restaurants, under the same brand family.

Hours: Monday closed; Tuesday–Wednesday 4 p.m.–12 a.m.; Thursday–Sunday 11:30 a.m.–12 a.m.

Don Patron Bistro and Social — Apopka

Address: 34 E Main St, Apopka, FL 32703

Status: Targeting a mid-July opening.

What to expect: Upscale bistro and social concept bringing dining, cocktails and entertainment to downtown Apopka. Co-owner Jose Acevedo is bringing the concept to Apopka after previously operating nightclubs in downtown Orlando.

Menu highlights: Lamb chops, New York strip steaks, Cajun rice and other American and Latin American dishes.

Atmosphere: Expect a dark, moody dining room with a full bar, numerous bottles and cocktails. DJs and musicians are also expected, especially on special occasions.

Space details: The dining room is set to host more than 150 diners. The full facility will be about 2,800 square feet.

Hours: Planned daily noon–midnight.
