Authentic Thai Coming to Orlando: Nep Sai Gon Bbq & Hotpot
Look out for Thai hotpot and table side barbecue.
ORLANDO, FL – Nep Sai Gon Bbq & Hotpot is in development at 6817 Eagle Watch Dr #275, Orlando, FL 32822, with owner Oanh Vo targeting an August opening. The restaurant is across the street from Epic Theatres, Vo shared with Business Debut in a phone interview. Vo said permits and approvals are still in progress.
What to Expect
Nep Sai Gon Bbq & Hotpot will focus on a Vietnamese approach to grilling and hotpot that centers shared eating. Vo described a setting where guests gather around the grill and broth to cook and assemble their own bites at the table. “It’s Vietnamese barbecue and hot pot for the people [to] gather together, share the food,” Vo told Business Debut.
Menu and Vision
Vo said Nep Sai Gon Bbq & Hotpot will emphasize distinctly authentic Vietnamese sauces, cooking methods and serving styles.
She plans to feature rice paper alongside grilled meats so guests can wrap and eat at the table. Vo also mentioned a range of herbs and sausages that will reflect Vietnamese flavors.
Beer and wine service is planned.
Opening Timeline
Vo said she hopes to open “as soon as possible,” and is aiming for August, assuming permits are completed. An exact opening date is still to be announced.
Hours
Vo shared that the restaurant plans to stay open until 1 a.m. Their goal is to serve the late night crowd coming from EPIC Theaters.
