Koa Sushi Opening a Brick and Mortar in Mills 50

ORLANDO, FL – A food stall in The Great Southern Box Company Food Hall is opening its first standalone brick and mortar. Koa Sushi, known for their fusion of Latin, Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine, is coming soon to Mills 50 at: 912 N Mills Ave, Orlando, FL 32803.
The business is primarily owned by Grace Orta.
What to Expect
Koa Sushi has been operating in The Great Southern Box Company Food Hall since 2024. The Puerto Rican and Venezuelan-owned brand is known for fusing Japanese, Latin, and Hawaiian cuisines with menu items like Spam musubi, onigiri, poke bowls (which are very popular, according to ownership), spicy tuna rolls, California rolls and much more.
Ownership confirmed that they are taking over the space formerly occupied by Grilled Cheezus. Once opened, Koa Sushi will offer counter service and will stay open as late as 2 a.m. on the weekends for the local bar patrons (will be across the street from Wally's).
