A New 50's Style Diner is Bringing Nostalgia to Orlando
50'S Diner is opening very soon.
ORLANDO, FL — 50'S Diner, a new 1950s-themed restaurant from owners Uriel Rivera and Felipe Osborn, is opening this week at 7223 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819, Rivera told Business Debut in a phone interview.
What to Expect
The menu includes quesadillas, burgers, pasta, pizza and fajitas, along with milkshakes and coffee.
“All the pizza is going to be made in house,” Rivera told Business Debut. He said he and his uncle emphasize preparation systems that support consistent execution.
Rivera shared that he has worked in restaurants since his teens, first as a busser, then as a server, and later in consulting roles with Osborn helping operators retrain staff, adjust menus and update decor. He said 50's Diner is the first step in a broader plan he calls the 50's Restaurant Group. Rivera told Business Debut he hopes to eventually add other concepts, including a Mexican restaurant and an Italian restaurant, under the 50'S brand.
Rivera described the 1,400-square-foot space as a medium-size diner with about 52 seats, with a mix of tables and a few booths.
He said the goal is to create a 1950s music and dining experience centered on classic diner staples. Milkshakes will be an emphasis on the menu.
Opening Timeline
Rivera said the team is targeting a soft opening this week. He said they recently resolved supply issues and are now focused on staff training and final approvals.
A formal grand opening date is to be announced.
