4th Orlando-Area Dave's Hot Chicken is Coming to Kissimmee

Popular California-based hot chicken brand has been spreading its roots in Orlando, and now one more restaurant is making the news. Franchisee Scott Strahm shared details about an upcoming location for Dave's in Kissimmee.

The restaurant is going into a former Tijuana Flats location at 6113 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34747. Strahm reported that a clear opening timeline isn't possible yet, but the hope is to debut in January or February 2025.

Strahm is the franchisee behind the Waterford Lakes, Altamonte Springs and Lake Mary Dave's restaurants. Additionally, he is a multi-unit franchisee of Five Guys in Central Florida. “We’re excited to be in the tourist area with all of the resorts close to Disney... and to be in the west side of Orlando," Strahm said.

The Dave's Hot Chicken brand started as a late-night pop up in Los Angeles. After a review from Eater Los Angeles, the business exploded in popularity and has since grown to around 200 locations globally.
