Palm Beach County has three notable concepts in the works, including a fast-growing hot chicken franchise, a coffee pop-up making the jump to brick-and-mortar and a large family-focused dining destination in Jupiter.

Jelly Bean Coffee — West Palm Beach

Address: 3700 S Dixie Hwy #4, West Palm Beach, FL 33405

Status: Targeting an opening before the end of 2026.

What to expect: Jelly Bean Coffee is moving from a pop-up and event-based operation into its first permanent cafe. The shop will feature both indoor and outdoor seating, with design inspiration pulled from European and Asian cafe spaces.

Menu highlights: Specialty coffee, matcha and housemade syrups will remain central to the brand. The brick-and-mortar will also add food from local bakery partners, including empanadas, quiche, toast and sourdough-based croissants.

Community focus: Owners Amanda and Anthony Sciarrino built the brand through pop-ups, community events and their own seasonal markets. They plan to continue hosting similar events once the cafe opens.

Who’s behind it: Amanda and Anthony Sciarrino started by serving coffee from home before gradually investing in better equipment, a mobile cart and event appearances. The permanent cafe is the next step in that progression.

Cluck Face Nashville Hot Chicken — Wellington

Address: 1347 State Road 7 Unit 3-105, Wellington, FL 33414

Status: Targeting a mid-November opening. Additional locations are planned for West Palm Beach in the first quarter of 2027 and Delray Beach on January 21.

What to expect: Cluck Face Nashville Hot Chicken specializes in oversized Nashville-style hot chicken tenders with a bold, late-night fast-casual approach. The chicken is never frozen, marinated and breaded in-house, then fried to order using the brand’s proprietary seasonings.

Menu highlights: Hot chicken is the centerpiece, with multiple spice levels including the brand’s hottest option, “Cluck It.” The menu also leans into playful names such as the “Crazy Cluck,” with the overall concept built around what franchisee Dave Chapman described as bigger, bolder and fresher food.

Hours: Planned daily hours are 11 a.m.–1 a.m.

Who’s behind it: Dave and Nancy Chapman have about 35 years of restaurant experience and hold exclusive development rights for Cluck Face from Palm Beach Gardens through Delray Beach. They also operate Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations in the region.

Fabricant Farms Cafe — Jupiter

Address: 16891 Jupiter Farms Rd, Jupiter, FL 33478

Status: Targeting an opening by the end of 2026.

What to expect: Fabricant Farms Cafe will be the first phase of a larger 1.8-acre redevelopment of the former Taylor Farmhouse Cafe property. The initial opening will include a full-service restaurant, live music stage and food truck, with a coffee shop, ice cream shop and market planned later.

Menu highlights: The cafe will focus on approachable family fare including burgers, mac and cheese, steaks, fish dishes, flatbreads and tacos. Former Taylor Farmhouse Cafe owner Chris Taylor will also help reintroduce some of his previous recipes.

Entertainment: Live music and outdoor family entertainment are major parts of the plan. The property is being designed as a gathering place rather than simply a standalone restaurant.

Hours: Dinner is expected to begin Wednesday through Sunday, with Tuesday potentially added later. Sunday brunch is also planned, followed eventually by lunch and breakfast service.

Who’s behind it: Tyler Fabricant purchased and is redeveloping the property under the Fabricant Farms name after spending about two years navigating county permitting.
