Pilar Coffee Bar and Iced Treats — Palm Beach Gardens
Address: 7100 Fairway Drive, Unit 23, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418
Status: Targeting a late 2026 opening.
What to expect: A modern coffee and dessert café designed as a gathering space for meetings, work sessions, and casual hangouts. The space will feature indoor seating plus a pet-friendly outdoor patio.
Menu highlights: Coffee drinks, gelato, milkshakes, Dubai waffles, salads, sandwiches, nitro cold brew, and vegan and gluten-free options.
Hours: Planned daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Who’s behind it: Franchisee Michael Buzzetti, opening his first location after discovering the brand in Deerfield Beach.

Vinny’s Cafe — Jupiter
Address: 5440 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458
Status: Targeting an August or September opening.
What to expect: A fast-casual café expanding from Boca Raton into Jupiter with indoor and outdoor seating. The concept focuses on salads, wraps, and hot sandwiches in a casual setting.
Menu highlights: Chicken Caesar wraps, paninis, quesadillas, deli sandwiches, salads, and wraps.
Hours: Expected daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Who’s behind it: Richard and Kristena Bartlett, expanding the concept after acquiring the original location in 2021.
Smoke and Maple Restaurant — Palm Beach Gardens
Address: 12325 Northlake Blvd., Suite 130, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412
Status: Targeting a late June opening following training and soft-opening events.
What to expect: An upscale casual gastropub blending comfort food with elevated cooking techniques. The large restaurant will include a 22-seat bar and flexible dining options ranging from casual happy hour visits to premium dinner experiences.
Menu highlights: Smash burgers, oysters, raw bar items, tomahawk steaks, and Kentucky barbecue fried gator.
Hours: Planned Sunday–Thursday 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m.; Friday–Saturday 11:30 a.m.–11 p.m.
Who’s behind it: Local owners Nick and Tara Lanier alongside Brendon O’hara and Joel Hartunian. Executive chef David Schroeder leads the kitchen.
