Glades Restaurant Opening Soon in Belle Glade
Expect soul food on the menu.
BELLE GLADE, FL – Glades Restaurant, a new soul food concept from owner Luis Falantre, is preparing to open at 1533 NW Ave L, Suite 3, Belle Glade, FL 33430, targeting sometime next month, Falantre told Business Debut in a phone interview.
Falantre said the team has been working in the space for about 10 months and is waiting on inspections before finalizing an opening date.
What to Expect
Glades Restaurant will offer a sit-down dining room with space for about 140 seats, Falantre told Business Debut.
The restaurant will occupy the former Banyan Tree Event Hall space, which Falantre said he has been renovating. He is designing the place where families can sit together and eat in a large, comfortable dining room.
Menu and Vision
Soul food will be served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Breakfast will feature pancakes, eggs, meat, sausage, pork chops and other standard morning plates. He said lunch will include "all kind of food" with short-order options in the evening and planned specials on Fridays and Saturdays.
He plans to offer seafood specials on certain days.
A bar is planned, but Falantre said he will apply for the alcohol license after opening.
Opening Timeline
The current plan is to open sometime next month, with a specific date to be announced.
Hours
Falantre said planned hours are 7 a.m. — 7:30 p.m. daily.
