Papi Smash'd Burgers

GAINESVILLE, FL — Papi Smash'd Burgers plans to open a new Gainesville location in early October at 1750 NW 1st Ave, Ste 60, Gainesville, FL 32603, operator Taylor Levy told Business Debut in a recent interview. He and partner Anesh Bodasing will operate the location together.

The brand’s first location operates in downtown Orlando. The Gainesville restaurant will be the second Papi Smash'd Burgers and will sit across from MacDinton's, a prominent Gainesville bar.

Siren Restaurant & Cocktail Bar

PANAMA CITY, FL — Siren Restaurant & Cocktail Bar, a new Southern-rooted, globally inspired concept from longtime local chef and operator Kay Brackett, is planned for downtown Panama City at 474 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32401, Brackett shared with Business Debut.

Brackett described Siren as her “siren era,” a more mature follow-up to earlier mermaid-themed concepts she has run in the area, and said the restaurant will sit in the city’s renovated downtown corridor.

St. Augustine, FL – A second location for Natural Greens Cafe is waiting permits to begin their build out at: 50 Silver Leaf Dr Unit 101 Saint Augustine, FL 32092, owner Faruk Surucu said.

The hope is to open in a few months, but that depends on how quickly permits are approved for the project.

Oh' Lemonade

TALLAHASSEE, FL — Oh' Lemonade, owned by Dwyane Ash, is preparing to move its restaurant to 1812 S Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32301 from its current location at 1314 S Adams St, Tallahassee, FL 32301, Ash told Business Debut in a phone interview.

Ash said Oh' Lemonade began in 2012 as a vendor at festivals and events before opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Railroad Square Art District. The restaurant later moved to South Adams Street and is now planning the move to South Monroe Street.

Intenso

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Intenso, a southern Italian restaurant with seven locations in Switzerland, plans to open in Miami Beach in November. Look for the brand to open at 640 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139.

Director Salvatore Viscomi and brand consultant Melissa Feliciano shared details with Business Debut in an interview.

The Miami Beach restaurant will be the brand’s first location outside Switzerland and the first in a planned seven-location Florida expansion, Viscomi said.

SAINT CLOUD, FL – Shalom Wellness and Cafe, a new specialty coffee shop and wellness-focused cafe, is targeting an October opening at 1340 S Narcoossee Rd Unit 107, Saint Cloud, FL 34771, manager Sabrina Carlesi told Business Debut in a phone interview.

The family-owned business is led by owner Valdoinio Torres, with her daughter Carlesi helping run day-to-day operations alongside partner Nairovis Vanderhoof.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Main Street Food, a new late-night street food spot from owner Jason Bryant, is planned for 5743 Main Street New Port Richey, FL 34652.

Bryant, a St. Petersburg native, said the idea formed after moving to New Port Richey with his family and exploring downtown.

He described looking for something to eat later in the evening and finding limited options as a turning point. “That was really the inspiration, just wanting to fill that gap and do something with my touch on it,” Bryant said.

Main Street Food is taking over the corner unit formerly occupied by Gone Juicing Cafe.
