New in Gainesville: Papi Smash'd Burgers Replacing Tiffin Box
The Latin-inspired burger joint will replace the fast casual Indian concept.
GAINESVILLE, FL — Papi Smash'd Burgers plans to open in Gainesville in early October at 1750 NW 1st Ave, Ste 60, Gainesville, FL 32603, operator Taylor Levy told Business Debut in a recent interview. He and partner Anesh Bodasing will operate the location together.
The brand’s original location operates in downtown Orlando. The Gainesville restaurant will be the second Papi Smash'd Burgers and will sit across from MacDinton's, a prominent Gainesville bar.
What to Expect
Expect a Latin infused, high energy burger joint that will stay open late. The Gainesville store will offer fast casual dining and counter ordering.
The menu is centered around smashed burgers with a Latin inspired twist, French fries, shakes, and a few additional items, Levy shared with Business Debut.
“We're going to offer some super high quality hamburgers,” Levy said.
Levy and Bodasing operate the Gainesville location under Second Rodeo Holdings. The pair plans to establish this location in Gainesville and then expand into Tallahassee.
Opening Timeline
Levy said the team expects to open the Gainesville restaurant in the next four weeks and is targeting the beginning of October.
Hours
Papi Smash'd Burgers Gainesville will operate seven days a week.
The restaurant will serve late night traffic. Specific hours are to be announced.
