Wagyu House to Debut Rooftop Japanese BBQ Experience in Atlanta
Chubby Group to open 400-seat Wagyu House on Interlock Tower rooftop, offering interactive Japanese BBQ experience.
Wagyu House, a new Japanese barbeque restaurant, is set to open next month on the rooftop of the Interlock 2 Tower at 1042 Northside Dr Suite 1300, Atlanta, GA 30318, Chubby Group partner Harvey Ren told Business Debut.
The rooftop restaurant will offer 16,000 square feet of space and seating for up to 400 people, Ren reported to Business Debut. Wagyu House will feature table-side cooking, allowing patrons to grill their own meats, including Japanese, Australian and American wagyu. Customers can choose from various packages offering different types of meat.
This new venture is part of the Chubby Group, which operates between 25-30 restaurants. The group is also expanding its presence in Georgia with two additional projects.
Chubby Cattle will open in Perimeter Mall at 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Rd, Atlanta, GA 30346, in the former Breakers Korean BBQ space. This location is slated to open in Q1 of next year, Ren said. Another Chubby Cattle BBQ is planned for Duluth, close to the existing Chubby Cattle Shabu. While Shabu will be serving hot pot, the upcoming location will offer Japanese BBQ. An opening date for this location has not been announced.
