The Pub at EAV is set to open in late summer in the former Elder Tree Public House space at 469 Flat Shoals Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30316, co-owner Chef Mike LaSage told Business Debut.

The menu will feature traditional pub fare like burgers and fish and chips, alongside creative takes on other known dishes, like the scotch egg. LaSage emphasized their goal to offer smaller, shareable plates to encourage a communal dining experience.

The venue is undergoing renovations, including revamping the facade to improve visibility from the street. The exterior and interior are being updated with a more vibrant look, brighter colors and additional patio space. LaSage emphasized that they plan to make the space more comfortable for families during the day and early evening.

The Pub at EAV plans to open in the afternoon, serve weekend brunch and offer a late-night menu until closing, which will be 2 am on weekdays and 3 am on weekends. "We want to make sure that everyone who is out late at night can get a great meal," LaSage said to Business Debut. The space will also be available for private events during the day. Brunch may not be available initially, LaSage said, but will be added once they are fully prepared for it.

This is Chef LaSage's first venture in East Atlanta Village after 20 years of cooking in Atlanta. He expressed excitement about transitioning from being a patron at the EAV restaurants to leading the kitchen of one.
