Taco Rico Opening in North Miami Beach with Tenth Location

Taco Rico, a Tex-Mex fast-casual brand, is set to open its tenth location at 13507 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami Beach, FL 33181, owner Leland Neal shared with Business Debut. The new corporate-owned store is expected to welcome customers by the end of August or the first week of September, Neal said.

Taco Rico has been growing steadily since 1992. According to their website, "In 1992, we opened our first location in Coral Gables and quickly became the go-to spot for University of Miami students. For 14 years, Taco Rico grew alongside the budding demand for Tex-Mex restaurants, forcing us to open a South Beach location in 2006, and then three more in Pinecrest (2008), Doral (2011), and Bird Road (2014)." The chain began franchising in 2015.

The North Miami Beach restaurant will occupy a 2,100 square foot space, accommodating 44 seats. Features include an open kitchen and counter service, with complimentary chips and salsa offered with every order. Customers can enjoy their meals with a selection of beer, wine and margaritas.

The chain is also venturing out of state with a new location planned for Houston, Texas, via a franchisee, Neal reported.
