Zaika Indian Cuisine Opening in Port St. Lucie

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL — Zaika Indian Cuisine is preparing to open a new full-service restaurant at 2860 SW Port St Lucie Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953, targeting late November through December, according to owner Priyanka Gorentla.

Gorentla’s husband, Vijay, said the team is working through interior construction and inspections and is aiming for an opening between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

What to Expect

The Port St. Lucie restaurant will be a sit-down, fine-dining concept with about 70 seats.

He said this will be Zaika’s fourth location, joining existing restaurants in North Miami, Weston and Key Largo.

Menu and Vision

Zaika’s menu will lean toward North Indian cuisine, with select South Indian dishes.

“The south has more spicy versions of food, and the north is similar to mild or medium heat here,” Gorentla said. He said the goal is to offer northern and southern Indian dishes for those accustomed to less spice and those who want full spice.

Vijay said the restaurant is pursuing a beer and wine license for the bar.

Zaika Indian Cuisine has operated in South Florida for about 14 years, beginning with its North Miami location.

Opening Timeline

Interior work and permitting remain in progress. The team is targeting late November or sometime in December, with a goal of opening before the end of the year.
