Soni Cafe Bringing Cafeteria Style Dining to Tampa
Soni Cafe will be a cafeteria-style business open to both office tenants and the public.
TAMPA, FL — Soni Cafe is targeting a mid-May opening at 4211 W Boy Scout Blvd, Suite 130, Tampa, FL 33607, where owner Elton Shkokota is bringing a cafeteria-style breakfast and lunch concept to Tampa’s Westshore area. Shkokota said the cafe will open inside an office building and operate during weekday business hours, serving both tenants and the public, he told Business Debut.
Business Debut learned of this story first from What Now.
What to Expect
The cafe will operate inside an office building but remain open to the public during business hours, offering a streamlined, pickup-style experience without table service. Shkokota said the setup is designed to primarily serve nearby office workers while still welcoming outside guests.
Inside, the space will seat around 40 guests and function as a casual, quick-service environment centered on efficiency and accessibility.
Menu and Vision
Soni Cafe will feature a mix of breakfast sandwiches, platters, and bowls, including options with eggs, toast, and omelets. For lunch, the menu will focus on sandwiches made with Boar’s Head products, along with rotating hot specials and a variety of salads such as Caesar, Greek, chef’s, and antipasto.
“We do some hot specials every day, different hot specials like a hot food mostly Italian or Spanish food,” Shkokota told Business Debut.
This will be the first location under the Soni Cafe name, but not Shkokota’s first cafe. He has operated Harborview Cafe in Tampa since 2018, which follows a similar cafeteria-style model.
Opening Timeline
Shkokota said the cafe is targeting a mid-May opening, pending final preparations.
Hours
The cafe plans to operate Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
