Shells and Scales Seafood to Open in Statham

Edmund Nelson is preparing to open Shells and Scales Seafood, a family-style fast-casual restaurant in downtown Statham, Nelson reported to Business Debut. While an exact timeline for the opening is not yet available, the project is described as a work in progress.

The seafood concept is planning to open in the same building as Shaved Ice Shack at 1907 Atlanta Hwy SE, Statham, GA 30666, Nelson said.

In addition to Shells and Scales Seafood, Nelson is developing a food truck park under his EDee's brand. The park, to be located at 1941 Harbins Rd, Dacula, GA 30019, will feature 4-5 food trucks, including a permanent EDee's BBQ food truck. The park will also include a live entertainment zone, Nelson shared.
