Pour Your Decisions Opening a New Sports Bar in Douglasville
Expect sports, live radio broadcasting, and a full bar.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA – Pour Your Decisions Sportsbar is preparing to open around January 1 at 7090 Concourse Pkwy Suite B, Douglasville, GA 30134, owner Kelz Markkell told Business Debut in a phone interview.
What to Expect
Pour Your Decisions will be a sports bar, media outlet and social space. During the day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the space will host programming for Hits 92.3, the radio station Markkell operates. The bar will run podcasts and live radio shows with a live audience, Markkell told Business Debut.
Televisions will show sports throughout the day. The business is partnering with a neighboring buffet so guests can access a discounted buffet rate while purchasing drinks from Pour Your Decisions Sportsbar on certain weekdays.
Menu and Vision
The kitchen will open at 5 p.m. daily, according to Markkell. The menu will feature wings, tacos and bar staples such as onion rings, fries, mozzarella sticks and fish.
Each night will focus on a specific event. Plans include a happy hour, multicultural night, LGBT night, karaoke night and other themed community events, Markkell told Business Debut. Monday evenings will feature a co-ed relationship panel powered by Hits 92.3.
Ownership Background
Pour Your Decisions Sportsbar is the first food and beverage venture for Markkell. She has operated Hits 92.3 for seven years in East Point and is now bringing that media platform and audience to Douglasville, she told Business Debut.
Markkell said the combined concept allows her to connect radio, live events and a sports bar environment in one address. She described the evening focus from 5 p.m. on as the primary sports bar operation, with media activity running during select daytime hours.
Markkell also shared about their founding members program. Purchasing a $30 T-shirt or $50 hoodie confers member status, capped at 250 members, and includes a 10 percent discount on dine-in food subtotal for 2027, a free quarterly buffet for founding members and first notice of events, she told Business Debut.
Additional contribution tiers at $500 and $1,000 include an in-bar plaque, with the higher tier adding a photo and personal or business information displayed inside the bar.
Opening Timeline
Markkell is targeting January 1 for opening and said the project remains on schedule. She noted that construction and setup are moving forward and that she is watching for any delays that could affect the date.
Hours
Detailed hours of operation are to be announced. Markkell said the kitchen will open at 5 p.m. every day, with Hits 92.3 activity in the space during the day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
