Roaring Social Bringing 1920s-Themed Dining and Entertainment to Decatur

Roaring Social, a unique entertainment and dining concept from Competitive Social Ventures, is set to open in Decatur next year, COO Brian Harper shared with Business Debut. Targeting a late March to early April opening, the new venue will bring a 1920s banking theme to the historic building at 101 W Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur, GA 30030. Known as RoSo Treasury, the Decatur location will follow the success of its Alpharetta counterpart, RoSo Clothiers, which features a speakeasy concealed within a tailoring shop. The Decatur space will feature two distinct dining and entertainment concepts. Upstairs, Sophia’s Cafe and Cocktails will offer lunch service that transitions into lighter dinner fare in the evening, with a focus on craft cocktails and live music, Harper told Business Debut.

The downstairs speakeasy and restaurant, however, will be the focal point of the experience. Guests will be guided through a vault and safety deposit box area to access the venue, which will feature an Art Deco theme, soft seating, duckpin bowling, dancing, live music, a full bar, and a menu of small-plate Americana cuisine designed to complement the social and entertainment-driven atmosphere.

Harper shared that the nightly entertainment lineup is still being finalized but will likely draw inspiration from the Alpharetta location’s schedule, which includes jazz on Tuesdays, live band karaoke on Wednesdays, and dueling pianos with country, Latin, and R&B genres on Thursdays. Fridays and Saturdays feature live bands, while Sundays offer a rotating entertainment roster.
