Rena’s Italian Fishery & Grill Opening in Johns Creek in 2026
Bringing its high-quality Italian cuisine and award-winning wines, Rena’s will open a new location in Medley Johns Creek in October 2026.
Rena’s Italian Fishery & Grill, a beloved destination for high-quality Italian cuisine and award-winning wines, is opening a new location in the Medley Johns Creek development, owner Darren Henderson shared with Business Debut. Scheduled to debut in October 2026, the restaurant will be located at 16650 Johns Creek Pkwy #6110, Johns Creek, GA 30097.
The new 6,000-square-foot location will closely mirror the original Rena’s in Alpharetta, which opened in February 2021 and has established itself as a local favorite. The Johns Creek location will feature around 140 indoor seats, along with a patio capable of seating an additional 50-60 guests.

Wine dinners are a standout feature of the Alpharetta location, where Henderson regularly brings in Italian wine producers to host educational and communal dining experiences. The new location will include a private room that will allow for scaled-down wine dinners. Henderson’s passion for Italian wine even extended to a group trip to Italy last year to visit vineyards and producers. Guests interested in attending the dinners can sign up via the restaurant's website.
An industry veteran, Henderson also owns Crust Pasta & Pizzeria in Alpharetta. He named Rena’s after his wife, Rena, who has been a cornerstone of his career as a restaurateur and chef. Committed to becoming part of the fabric of the Johns Creek community, Henderson is looking forward to bringing the same level of culinary excellence and hospitality that defines the Alpharetta location.
