ATLANTA, GA — Pollo Primo is planning a second location at 863 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30306, owner Omar Ferrer told Business Debut. Ferrer and co-owner Duane Kulers are building out the space and targeting an opening in about a month to a month and a half, Ferrer told Business Debut.

What to Expect

The new Pollo Primo will be fast casual, with a focus on takeout, delivery and a family-friendly atmosphere, Ferrer told Business Debut.

This will be the second Pollo Primo location. The original opened in December 2021, Ferrer told Business Debut.

Ferrer said the team is replicating the Pollo Primo concept at the new location, with plans to potentially add a few items from Supremo, the former taqueria concept he and Kulers operated off Memorial Drive.

Pollo Primo is centered on a pollo asado concept, while Supremo was more of a taqueria, Ferrer told Business Debut. Possible returning items include chili queso and quesadillas, though those additions are to be announced.

The restaurant will also serve margaritas and beer, Ferrer told Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

Pollo Primo is targeting an opening in about a month to a month and a half.
