New Milk Tea Spot in Jacksonville: Cafe 55

JACKSONVILLE, FL – Cafe 55, a dessert-focused cafe from owner Kara Sun, is targeting an opening around August 20 at 13799 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32224, Sun told Business Debut in a phone interview.
What to Expect
Cafe 55 will be a casual cafe centered on drinks, sweets and snacks.
"Cafe 55 is like a new modern cafe in Jacksonville," Sun told Business Debut. Guests can expect coffee, tea, milk tea, fresh bakery pastries and some unique desserts.
The menu will also include sandwiches and bagels. A featured item will be shaved ice and milk tea combinations.
"We have something very special," Sun shared.
Sun said she previously partnered in milk tea cafes in Atlanta before deciding to open her own business in Jacksonville.
Opening Timeline
Sun said she is targeting an opening around August 20.
An exact opening date remains to be announced.
