4T’s Eatery Returning to Jacksonville
The family-owned brunch spot is preparing a comeback with a larger location and expanded dining space.
JACKSONVILLE, FL — 4T’s Eatery plans to open in late June or early July at 6050 Moncrief Rd Suite 13, Jacksonville, FL 32209, owner Torrey Jones told Business Debut.
Jones described 4T’s Eatery as a small dine-in, breakfast and brunch spot with a comfortable, old-school feel where guests can sit down and have coffee and a meal. The restaurant previously operated near 8th Street and Phoenix Avenue in Jacksonville before closing for about two years, Jones shared with Business Debut in a phone interview.
He said the new Moncrief Road space offers a larger building and stronger traffic.
What to Expect
4T’s Eatery focuses on brunch dishes that Jones said reflect family recipes and preferences.
Core items include chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and fish and grits, Jones told Business Debut. The team also prepares pancakes and waffles with different flavor variations.

“We have the traditional menu and we also kind of have our own crazy spin that we do to it,” Jones shared with Business Debut. He said examples include Fruity Pebbles waffles, cinnamon toast crunch waffles, Oreo waffles, strawberry pancakes, sweet potato pancakes, and sweet potato waffles.
Jones added that the team plans to bring back a “Soulful Sunday” offering with soul food plates once operations are established.
Jones said the concept centers on a cozy, sit-down environment with counter and table service. Guests can expect a familiar brunch-style menu along with coffee service in the mornings, he told Business Debut.
Family members play active roles in the business. Jones said the name 4T’s Eatery comes from the four siblings whose names all begin with T: Torrey, Timothy, Tiana and Timari. He said each sibling participates in the business.
Opening Timeline
Jones said he is targeting late June or early July for opening, with the exact date still to be announced while final details come together.
Hours
Jones said 4T’s Eatery plans to open five days a week at launch, likely Wednesday through Sunday, similar to the previous location. Specific daily hours are still to be announced.
He added that his long-term goal is to operate seven days a week.
