Light on the Sugar Expanding with New Orlando Location

Light on the Sugar, the popular bakery and dessert shop owned by Yixi Qiu and his wife Wen Pan, is opening a new location at 429 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32828. The couple hopes to open the new spot in the next few weeks.

The bakery will offer signature breakfast items, including croissants, danishes and other baked goods, all crafted with the same attention to detail that has made Light on the Sugar a favorite.

In addition to the bakery expansion, the company has plans for a new venture, Obon Chocolate Shop, which will focus on selling chocolate and serving drinks. The shop is expected to open in early January or February, though an exact location has not yet been confirmed, according to Qiu.
