Machete Grill Taco Factory Opening in Chamblee

Machete Grill Taco Factory is set to bring authentic Mexican flavors to Chamblee toward the end of January, owner Mayela Groover told Business Debut on the phone. The new taqueria will offer 35 seats inside, including a small bar featuring a full liquor selection.

Roaring Social Bringing 1920s-Themed Dining and Entertainment to Decatur

Roaring Social, a unique entertainment and dining concept from Competitive Social Ventures, is set to open in Decatur next year, COO Brian Harper shared with Business Debut over the phone.

Targeting a late March to early April opening, the new venue will bring a 1920s banking theme to the historic building at 101 W Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur, GA 30030. Known as RoSo Treasury, the Decatur location will follow the success of its Alpharetta counterpart, RoSo Clothiers, which features a speakeasy concealed within a tailoring shop. Jerk’s Caribbean Grill Opening Soon in Brookhaven

Jerk’s Caribbean Grill is set to bring fast-casual, Chipotle-style Caribbean dining to Brookhaven, with owner Chef Rob Gayle sharing plans to open within the next 30 days.

Located at 705 Town Blvd Building R Suite A415, Brookhaven, GA 30319, the new restaurant will offer a casual take on Caribbean cuisine inspired by Gayle’s popular full-service restaurant, Chef Rob’s Cafe and Bar.

Midtown Social Opening in West Midtown

Midtown Social, a new restaurant from Devon Green—the owner behind Milk and Honey Atlanta and other ventures—is preparing for its Atlanta debut. Green shared with Business Debut that the restaurant will host a soft opening in February '25, with a grand opening planned for March '25.

Located at 1740 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, Midtown Social will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner with distinct dining experiences throughout the day.

Gocha Hawkins Opening a Dual Restaurant Concept in Atlantic Station + A New Commissary Kitchen

Two popular Atlanta restarants are joining forces under one roof in Atlantic Station. Gocha’s Breakfast Bar and Gocha’s Tapas Bar are merging to create the dual-concept restaurant, scheduled to open in the first quarter of next year, owner Gocha Hawkins shared with Business Debut in an interview. During the day, the restaurant will feature the beloved breakfast menu from Gocha’s Breakfast Bar, transitioning in the evening to serve the tapas menu that has gained popularity in its original location on Campbellton Road.

Hawkins is also set to open Gocha’s Shared Kitchen at 5965 Old National Hwy, College Park, GA 30349. This shared kitchen space will provide a resource for caterers and food truck operators to prepare their meals without the financial burden of running a full restaurant. While the exact opening date has not been confirmed, Hawkins noted that it will be soon.

Tipsy Thaiger Bringing Thai Restaurant and Bar to Roswell in 2025

Tipsy Thaiger, a neighborhood Thai restaurant and bar, is opening its doors in Roswell in spring 2025, owner Birdie Niyomkun shared with Business Debut. What began as a popular pop-up concept is set to become a permanent fixture at 605 Atlanta St., Roswell, GA 30075, breathing new life into one of Roswell's historic buildings.

Niyomkun described Tipsy Thaiger as “a neighborhood Thai restaurant and bar inspired by family recipes and the vibrant Thai culture that brings people together through food.”

Tropical Smoothie Cafe Opening on Memorial Drive

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is bringing its healthy, fast-casual offerings to Memorial Drive in Atlanta. Franchisee Terry Floyd, along with his wife Netta, shared their excitement about opening the new location, which is set to debut on January 18th at 780 Memorial Dr SE Unit 3B, Atlanta, GA 30316.

Terry shared some advice for aspiring entrepreneurs, emphasizing that taking the leap into business ownership: “Let it be something you do, not just something you want to do,” he shared with Business Debut.

Moringa Kitchen is preparing to open in Suwanee next month, taking over the space of the former Cheeky Taqueria at 1039 Peachtree Industrial Blvd a 122, Suwanee, GA 30024, owner Mohan Manchu shared with Business Debut.

Manchu revealed plans to transform the former Mexican restaurant into a sophisticated dining experience, offering elevated American cuisine with seating for up to 140 guests. The team is aiming to open before January 15th, bringing a fresh take on American fine dining to the Suwanee community.

Bella Vita Opening in Lilburn

Bella Vita, a new fast-casual and takeout Italian restaurant, is set to open soon in Lilburn, Georgia. Owner Michelle Barker shared plans to open the eatery by mid-January, bringing a variety of Italian-inspired favorites to the community.
