Delilah’s Everyday Soul Now Targeting Summer Opening in Downtown
The popular soul food concept is preparing to open its first standalone restaurant in downtown Atlanta.
ATLANTA, GA – Delilah’s Everyday Soul is finalizing build-out for its first standalone restaurant at 227 Mitchell St SW, Atlanta, GA 30303, with opening targeted for this summer, owner Delana Reeves told Business Debut.
Reeves said the team is working through final permits and inspections after a lengthy construction process. “Every day we’re working to get it open.”
What to Expect
Reeves said the Mitchell Street menu will reflect the fast-casual format established at the Chattahoochee Food Works location, which is approaching its five-year anniversary. Core items will include fried chicken, mac and cheese and fried green tomatoes. “Anything that you can get at the Chattahoochee Foodworks or Colony Square venues you’ll be able to get at Mitchell Street,” Reeves told Business Debut.

The Mitchell Street space measures about 1,300 square feet, most of it dedicated to the kitchen.
The larger kitchen will support additional dishes and some Mitchell Street exclusives. Reeves declined to share specifics but said guests can expect “some other special items that you can’t get at any of the other places.”
The dining room will seat about 30 guests. Reeves described the setting as warm and home-focused, designed to feel like visiting a family member’s house.
This will be the first location for Delilah’s Everyday Soul outside a food hall. The brand currently operates at Chattahoochee Food Works and Colony Square. “We are very excited about having our first standalone space,” Reeves told Business Debut.
The Mitchell Street restaurant will include a bar. Reeves said food service will come first, with the bar program targeted for the fall.
Opening Timeline
Reeves said the restaurant is in the final phase of inspections, including certificate of occupancy and food permitting. She said the team is targeting an opening sometime this summer. An exact date remains to be announced.
